DJ EVOLUTION

5 YEARS AT MOBILE EVENTS AND LIVE
INTERNET SHOWS |
| My love of beat mixing began when I played during funk sessions at a skating rink in San Antonio, Texas in 1982. I then began working on computer systems for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and the skills I attained were used with my new Internet and video partnership at Rainbow Radio. We began streaming live shows for DJ's around the world and provided mobile sound and light systems at events around the country as well as designing club video systems. |

BLAKES - ATLANTA, GA (Video
& Vinyl) |
| While installing some new systems for my company in Virginia I began working at BABES in Richmond. This was my first club venture where I was asked to totally redesign a club sound system from scratch as well as installing and programming Martin computer controlled lights. The end result was a dynamic sound and light system and I fell in love with the club scene! Upon moving back to my home base in Atlanta I provided some mix CDs to BLAKES and was hired as weekend DJ. OSCARS - ATLANTA, GA (Exclusive
Video) |
| Blakes was part turntable and part music video bar, but a new 100% music video facility was opening and asked me to assist with design and installation of their VJ booth and video systems. The end result was The Oscars (seen above). I chose Videonics for its ease of use and great special effects. The DJs praised the new setup for allowing flawless beat mixing thanks to our database of videos in order of beats per minute (very helpfull since video mixers do not yet have pitch control). |

RED CHAIR -
ATLANTA, GA (6500 square foot Exclusive Video) |
| After installing DJ/VJ systems and operating them 5 years in Atlanta I was still honored to be chosen for the installation of the grandaddy of all video bars... the 6500 square foot RED CHAIR in Atlanta! Six screens each twenty feet tall with Proxima projectors and the most kicking sound system in the city!!! What a pleasure to work on this bar and to VJ for them. As of this writing I have moved to Virginia Beach and am working on bringing the first music video bar to this grand city! Stay tuned to see more once we are complete... |
